Website Cookie Notice
Last Updated: Wednesday, 30 September 2026
This notice explains what this website stores on your device and what it sends to third parties. It covers this website only. Data that our corporate customers submit to our inference service is covered separately by the Blackfuel.ai Service Privacy Policy.
The controller for the data described here is Blackfuel SAS. For any question or request, contact comms@blackfuel.ai.
1. What we store, and when
Analytics cookies — only if you accept. When you select Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets two cookies on this site:
- _ga — distinguishes one browser from another using a randomly generated identifier. It expires 13 months after it is first set and is not extended by later visits.
- _ga_83PL759W73 — keeps the state of your current visit, such as when the visit started. Google rewrites it as your visit progresses, within the same 13-month limit.
Until you accept, no Google script is loaded and neither cookie is set. If you decline, or later withdraw your consent, measurement is switched off and both cookies are deleted from this site.
Browser storage, not cookies. Two small values are kept in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us or to anyone else:
- theme — whether you chose the light or dark appearance.
- analytics-consent — your answer to the cookie banner and the date you gave it, so that we neither ask you on every page nor treat silence as agreement. We ask again after six months.
2. What Google Analytics receives
If you accept, Google receives, for each page you view: the page address and title, the address of the page that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device, browser and language, and the identifier in the _ga cookie. It also records a small number of interaction events, such as scrolling and the fact that you began filling in the contact form. Google does not store your full IP address for Google Analytics 4 properties.
We have switched off Google signals, advertising storage and ad personalisation for this property. Your visit is not used to build advertising audiences, and we do not combine it with advertising identifiers.
What you type into the contact form is never sent to Google. Where it does go is described in the next section.
3. What happens when you use the contact form
The contact form asks for your area of interest, your name and your email address, and optionally your company and a message. When you send it, those details go directly to HubSpot, the customer relationship management system we use to receive and answer enquiries. Nothing leaves your browser while you are still typing, and the form works whether or not you accepted analytics cookies.
The form sets no cookies. We do not load HubSpot's tracking script on this site and we send HubSpot no browser identifier, so your enquiry is not linked to your browsing of this site and writing to us does not cause you to be followed across other websites.
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and, where your enquiry concerns a possible contract, on Article 6(1)(b). Writing to us is entirely voluntary, and you can email comms@blackfuel.ai directly instead. If your enquiry cannot reach HubSpot, the form falls back to preparing a message in your own email application, which only you can send.
We keep enquiries for up to three years from our last contact with you, and delete them after that. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Section 6 of our Privacy Policy sets out the same processing, with the legal bases, the retention period and your rights.
4. Why we may do this, and how to change your mind
We rely on your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, for everything that is not strictly necessary to deliver the site. Giving consent is entirely optional, and declining costs you nothing: the site behaves exactly the same either way.
You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings, in the footer of every page and in the quick navigation menu (⌘ K or Ctrl K). Withdrawing consent stops further measurement and deletes the analytics cookies, though it does not undo measurement that already took place. You can also delete cookies or block them entirely in your browser settings.
5. Who else is involved, and for how long
Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor for Google Analytics and may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses. Google's own description of this processing is available at How Google uses information from sites that use its services .
HubSpot Ireland Limited acts as our processor for the contact form and stores enquiries in HubSpot's European hosting region. Its parent company, HubSpot, Inc. in the United States, may access that data to support the service, under standard contractual clauses.
Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes the technical request data needed to serve this site, including your IP address.
We configure Google Analytics to keep event-level data for no more than 14 months. Aggregated reports may be kept for longer, and your consent record stays in your own browser for six months.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these rights, write to comms@blackfuel.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr ), or with the supervisory authority where you live.
7. Changes to this notice
If we add or change what this website stores, we will update this notice and, where your consent is required, ask for it again before the change takes effect.
